The Delta Omicron Foundation, Inc. promotes the cause of music through:

• Scholarships, grants and awards for graduate or undergraduate study in the United States
• Musical Pathways for Youth, supporting musical activities for children and teens
• Awarding the Thor Johnson Memorial Commission
• Maintenance of Delta Omicron Studio and Petzold-Collyer Piano at MacDowell, Peterborough, N.H.
• Roy Underwood Educational Grants in Music Therapy
• Contributing to the Delta Omicron Composition Competition, open to composers the world over​
• Seat Endowments at Metropolitan Opera House and Lincoln Center in New York
• Supporting American music and American composers through premiere performances
• Past contributions to Building Funds at the National Federation of Music Clubs, Indianapolis, Indiana; the Brevard Music Center, Brevard, North Carolina; and the National Music Camp, Interlochen, Michigan.
